Introduction
The Account Balance feature gives Customers a clear and concise overview of their financial standing. This includes a summary of your current totals and a table of open orders and financial documents. This article will guide you through understanding and using the Account Balance feature.
Navigating to the Account Balance Screen
To access your Account Balance:
- Sign in to your buyer account.
- Click on the user profile icon located in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select Account Balance from the dropdown menu.
You will be directed to the Account Balance page.
Account Balance Summary
Overview
The Account Balance Summary provides a quick snapshot of your financial status. The following fields are displayed:
- On Hold: The total dollar amount of orders currently on hold (only shown if there are orders on hold).
- Pending: The total dollar amount of orders or payments that are recorded in the system but are still being processed (only shown if applicable).
- Awaiting Payment: The total dollar amount due for open invoices.
- Available Credits: The total dollar amount available from payments and credit notes.
- Balance Owed: The total amount currently owed (excluding "On Hold" amounts).

Detailed Document List
The Detailed Account Balance List provides comprehensive details about your account's open documents.
Columns Displayed:
- Date: The last updated date of the document.
- Doc Type: Customizable labels for system codes, indicating the document type (e.g., Invoice, Payment, Credit Note, RMA Credit).
- Doc #: Reference number linked to related order details.
- $ Original Doc Amount: The original amount of the document.
- $ Balance Owed: The remaining balance due on the document (shown as a negative value for remaining credit).
Important Notes:
- Closed documents (e.g., fully paid invoices or applied payments) do not appear in the list.
Practical Tips for Buyers
- Monitor Pending Orders: Regularly check the "Pending" and "On Hold" amounts to address any outstanding issues quickly.
- Leverage Available Credits: Use the "Available Credits" section to apply credits to open invoices and reduce your Balance Owed.
